Job Title: Software/System Verification Engineer (Medical Imaging Devices)

Pay Rate: $43 to $46/Hr

Duration: 12 months

Location: Issaquah, WA

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

We are looking for a Software/System Verification Engineer (Medical Imaging Devices)

We are seeking a Software/System Testing Engineer (Medical Imaging Devices) with 3-5 years of experience in software and system testing to support verification activities for medical imaging products . The ideal candidate will have strong exploratory testing skills, experience designing effective test cases, and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues through log analysis and defect investigation.

• Execute and document software and system-level verification activities.
\n
• Perform exploratory testing to identify defects, usability issues, and edge-case scenarios.
\n
• Design test cases using established test design techniques such as boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and risk-based testing.
\n
• Create, update, and manage defects, tasks, test artifacts, and requirements within Azure DevOps (ADO).
\n
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps queries, dashboards, and work item tracking.
\n
• Analyze and troubleshoot software and system failures using: Windows Event Viewer, Application logs, Service logs.
\n
• Investigate issues, reproduce defects, and provide clear root-cause evidence to development teams.
\n
• Execute and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wireless connectivity testing, including connectivity, roaming, performance, and recovery scenarios.
\n
• Support regression, integration, and system verification testing activities.
\n
• Collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Development, and Verification teams.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
\n
• 3-5 years of software/system testing experience.
\n
• Experience testing products in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices or medical imaging systems.
\n
• Strong exploratory testing and defect investigation skills.
\n
• Experience with Azure DevOps , including work item creation, defect management, test plans, and queries.
\n
• Experience analyzing Windows application and system logs to troubleshoot failures.
\n
• Understanding of software test design techniques and verification methodologies.
\n
• Experience testing wireless communication features and Wi-Fi-enabled products.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Experience with medical imaging s ystems ( Ultrasound , Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging, etc.).
\n
• Familiarity with FDA-regulated software development environments.
\n
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and WLAN technologies.
\n
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting.
\n
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing certification.
\n
