KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Office Assistant is a team player that compiles and maintains records of the business transactions and office activities of the dealership. As Office Assistant, you are responsible for preparing a variety of accounting statements and reports for the management team. Others may be assigned.Prepares and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks.Records orders for merchandise, supplies, or service.Receives, counts, and pays out cash.Computes wages, taxes, premiums, commissions, and payments.Provides backup support for any accounting or service clerical position on an as-needed basis.Handles special accounting projects as instructed by the office manager.Maintains office equipment (i.e., copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.).
